About Cleo

I am a very open-minded, patient, and enthusiastic Psychology tutor. Knowing firsthand how a great teacher can make all the difference, my student experience inspired me to become a tutor. This background helps me understand and overcome specific barriers in the subject, just as I did during my studies. Serving as Head Girl at my previous school equipped me with the skills to communicate effectively and support students comprehensively. I firmly believe in the power of consistency and the importance of working both hard and smart to achieve your goals. About the lesson

My teaching approach focuses on understanding and adapting to each student’s unique learning style. I use a combination of interactive discussions, practical examples, case studies, and real-world applications to make psychological concepts more accessible and engaging to prepare you for your upcoming exam! I will also share my personal revision material tailored to each student (e.g. notes, example questions, PowerPoint slides, essay plans etc.)- making your revision process more efficient and engaging! With a year of experience as a Psychology tutor, I have successfully guided students to gain admission to prestigious UK universities, including Oxbridge, UCL, and LSE. Additionally, I have over three years of experience as an academic and pastoral mentor, supporting a diverse range of students with varying skills, needs, and abilities. I am currently getting a BSc degree for Psychological and Behavioural Science at the London School of Economics (LSE) - Having recently completed my Psychology A-level, I am well-versed in tackling challenging content and topics. I can share valuable resources and exam techniques to help you achieve top marks! I specialise in the AQA Psychology A-level specification (Papers 1, 2, and 3), with particular expertise in topics such as Research Methods, Biopsychology, and Issues & Debates.v
