About Elyse

Hey, I'm Elyse! - a HSC graduate who is passionate about learning and experienced in teaching students. I am eager to help others through the learning process, and as a top academic student studying in Sydney NSW, I find passion in a broad range of subjects, such as the humanities, arts and sciences and am driven to share this joy with you or your child. Having gone through high school and the HSC experience, I understand how it feels to be stuck in reading and re-reading textbooks all day, and the looming stress of exams. That's why I strive to have clear objectives, effective learning strategies and a plan to conquer academic challenges face on. I'm available throughout the school holidays and term (reach out using the chat feature!) About the lesson

My teaching style is tailored to each student and their goals. I refuse to make learning a tedious process! I'm committed to guiding you to improve your grades, and truly understand the content rather than just rote learning it. I have had experience with different teaching strategies and have a large bank of resources to support each student in whichever subject they choose to tutor with. Lesson Structure: - Lessons last for 1.5 hours. (Negotiable, but 1.5 hours allows ample time to go through lesson content) - First lesson is focused on assessing your goals, current understanding of the subject, which allow for subsequent lessons to be catered and purposeful! - Lessons include: guiding students in current school assessment tasks, providing and going through step-by-step questions, guiding students in timetabling study sessions I find that online lessons work fine, but please feel free to reach out with questions, and organizing lesson locations! (I'm able to go to different locations, mainly libraries, if close by!) PLEASE INQUIRE ABOUT PRICING FOR DIFFERENT SUBJECTS AND LEVELS
