About Rory
I am a second year Psychology and Counselling double major at SACAP (The South African College of Applied Psychology).
In my matric year, myself and a few friends started a tutoring service for younger grades - this continued in our first years out of school, which then included matric subjects. I have always had a passion for helping people out who need a push in the right direction, or a helping hand in learning - because I truly believe that everyone has the capacity to do extraordinary things.

First and foremost I believe that everybody has the ability to achieve great things with a little help. Before getting started, I will ask my students to list their focal areas, or areas in need of further teaching. My methodology centres around a three stage process: theoretical understanding; practical understanding; and finally application. I believe in learning by application, and as such will always allow for my students to apply the knowledge or concepts covered in a practical manor, with feedback in order to further understand and learn until the student is satisfied that they are confident in their work, and most importantly - their ability.
