About Kalea
Hello, I am Michiko (美智子)! I am advanced Japanese and spoke Japanese at home as a child then continued to study throughout my life. I am half-Japanese and I love to spread my culture to those who are interested in it.
Right now I go to a language school and tutor there as well for part-time. I love teaching as it is my dream and I am passionate about it. I come with good intentions; to help you expand your horizon.

My teaching is targeted towards elementary-aged children from 5-12 years old. ️ My teaching method is through memorization games and tools; I offer classes through music, games, songs, and conversations of the interest of my students so that they can memorize the materials. I like to cater to who I am teaching by learning about their likes and d then personalizing a lesson plan for them. ️(❁´◡`❁)
A typical lesson plan for me is usually a topic, for example, food, then learning the vocabulary under the topic of food and continuing with an activity that requires the knowledge just practiced. I use PDFs, PPTs, Anime, Games, and more to get my point across.
As a tutor, I truly love teaching, helping, and sharing my knowledge with others as I am passionate about my students and classes.(●'◡'●)
