About Charlotte

I am about to graduate with a Bachelor of Social Work from the University of Sydney. I have also completed subjects in politics, gender studies, public policy, history and research. I have a high distiction WAM and in 2023 was awarded with an academic merit prize and placed on the Dean's List of excellence in academic performance.

I graduated high school in 2018. My favourite subject was Society and Culture and I received a Band 6 in the subject. Throughout the course I developed a good understanding of the content as well as what needs to go into a PIP, exam response or essay to get full marks.

After finishing high school, I tutored primary and high school students for three years alongside my university study. Now that I have almost completed my degree, I am able to tutor 1st and 2nd year students in social work or social science as well as primary school school students and HSC students.

About the lesson

I am an enthusistic tutor with 3 years experience teaching primary school and high school students.

Most my experience has been working with Society and Culture HSC students. I enjoy helping students with the PIP, perfecting their essays and preparing for exams. I offer ongoing lessons that focus on familiarising the student with the syllabus dot points or I can do one-off lessons that focus on perfecting an essay or formulating aspects of the PIP, depending on the students needs.

I am available to assist university students in the social science field to prepare for assessments or exams. I can do this by helping students plan out essay responses, proof reading or helping to develop notes.

I have experience working with younger primary school students. I work with the student to help them stay focused and motivated whilst completing their homework and prioritise fostering curiosity and a love for learning.
