About Kibet

I am a STEM and technology tutor with experience helping students understand Mathematics, IT, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, and related subjects.

Over time, I have worked with different types of learners, including college students, online students, and part-time students who are balancing work and studies. Many of them usually need help with coursework, assignments, labs, and exam preparation.

My main goal is to make difficult topics easier to understand. I focus on breaking down complex ideas into simple steps so that students can follow without feeling overwhelmed.

I understand that many students are under pressure from tight deadlines and fast-paced courses, especially in summer and fall semesters. My lessons are designed to give support in a calm and practical way so you can keep up and improve your confidence in the subject.

I am comfortable working with beginners as well as students who already have some background but need extra support to improve their performance.

Outside tutoring, I enjoy working on technology-related topics and staying updated in areas like cybersecurity and computing, which helps me bring real-world understanding into my lessons.

About the lesson

My goal for teaching is to assist students in truly understanding how to solve problems and complete assignments in class, lab, and on exams in a way that is comprehensible and not confusing.

I first figure out precisely where you are having trouble, whether it's a conceptual problem, a lab task, an assignment, or studying for an exam. I will then simplify that topic into a systematic approach so you understand how to methodically approach that task, as opposed to trying to memorize it.

In one of my standard lessons, we first do a quick review of that topic's key idea. Next, I will work with you on examples of how to work through that task step by step. Each step will be explained in a simplified manner, and I will always illustrate how to apply those steps based on your course's individual assignments/labs / exams. Afterward, you will attempt other questions that are similar in nature while I provide you assistance with your responses and help you better understand the concepts in real-time.

For all Math, Algebra, and STEM Courses, I will focus on assisting you to successfully break each concept into simple patterns of meaningful, logical information for you to use on your exams. For all IT, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Digital Forensics, and Criminal Investigation Courses, I will also assist you in developing practical knowledge through the use of laboratory experiments, laboratory tools, and actual coursework you have completed (or will complete) in your class so you will have a clear understanding of what to do and why to do it.

Also, if necessary, I will assist you in developing the structure of your assignments and reports to ensure your final product is clear, complete, and meets the academic requirements.

Each session is flexible to meet each student's needs.
