About Janice
I enjoy working with students and explaining difficult concepts in a concise and logical manner. I am extremely organised and have a relatively flexible schedule to work around. Having worked in childcare for 2 years alongside children with special needs, I am trained in behavioural support. This allows me to make lessons fun, effective and engaging. For my A-levels, I received 4 A*s in maths, biology, chemistry and further maths. I am most confident tutoring maths, biology and chemistry, but am happy to tutor other subjects to GCSE level. Such subjects include English literature and language, geography and religious studies. At GCSEs, I received all 9s across 12 subjects.

Typical lessons are 1 hour long. For A-levels and GCSEs, I will briefly explain the topic using my notes, textbooks and online resources. Then, we will look through various examples of exam questions. Additionally, further reading around the topic may be given if the student is keen. I have experience in tutoring A-levels, GCSEs and 13+ entry exams. I am happy to tutor students of any age, helping with homework or public exams.
