About Mischa
Hi, my name is Mischa, and I’m from the Mosman area. I recently graduated from Queenwood School for Girls, ranking in the top 5 for Advanced English out of over 70 students and top 10 for Extension English within my school. I plan to continue studying English next year because of my passion for literature, and I’d love to share that enthusiasm with senior high school students, particularly Years 9 to 12, focusing on both short answer and essay responses. I help my students not only understand their syllabus at a refined level but also engage deeply with literary techniques.

My lessons are tailored to each student’s learning journey, advancing skills in text analysis, creative writing, and exam preparation. I also provide guidance outside of lesson times, marking essays and offering feedback to refine argumentation and deepen understanding of complex texts.
For virtual classes, I use tools like Zoom’s whiteboard function and shared Google Docs or Microsoft Word documents, allowing students to work on diagrams, quotes, worksheets, and annotated texts in real time. I’m also happy to record sessions so students can revisit tricky concepts.
For in-person sessions, I bring printed worksheets, handouts, essay planning templates, and sample essays. I can use my iPad as a whiteboard for brainstorming and mapping responses, and working with physical texts allows me to mark and annotate more efficiently. I’m happy to travel around the Mosman area, including Seaforth, Manly, Balgowlah, and Mosman itself.
