About Amy
Hi! My name is Amy, and I am passionate about helping students feel more confident and successful in their learning. I have been tutoring several students for the past three years, helping them improve their understanding, grades, and study habits in a supportive and encouraging environment.
In addition to academics, I play both softball and volleyball, which has taught me discipline, teamwork, communication, and leadership skills that I also bring into my tutoring style. I understand that every student learns differently, so I focus on being patient, organized, and adapting lessons to each student’s individual needs and pace.
My goal is not only to help students succeed academically, but also to help them build confidence and feel comfortable asking questions. I always aim to create lessons that are productive, positive, and motivating so students leave feeling more prepared and capable after every session.

Hi! My name is Amy, and I focus on making lessons simple, engaging, and stress-free. A typical lesson includes reviewing difficult concepts, practicing problems together, and building confidence through repetition and encouragement. I’m patient, organized, and easy to talk to, which helps students feel comfortable asking questions.
My lessons are great for elementary, middle school, and ninth grade students who want extra help improving grades, studying for tests, staying organized, or understanding difficult subjects better. I aim to create a positive learning environment where students feel motivated and supported while improving academically.
