About Tatia
I am a Psychology major and I have been a tutor for half a year at this point. I usually work with small groups of students with help they need on any subject in Elementary, Middle School, and High School. My students have done a lot better in their classes given the added push I give to try and focus on what specifically they are struggling with. The biggest hurdle I find is students not realizing that they don't understand the concepts. I have worked for Edina Public Schools and Robbinsdale Public Schools.

My approach is to first understand how the student learns and what their greatest difficulties are in the learning process, whether it be motivation or lack of knowledge on that topic in particular. By the end of the summer I will have a Bachelors of Arts Degree in Psychology which I will then take to a Masters Program in Family and Couples therapy. My focus on who people are and why they think the way they do is why I am a great tutor.
