About New Moon

At New Moon Education, we believe every student can succeed with the right guidance, support, and learning environment. Our team of friendly and dedicated tutors is committed to helping students build confidence, strengthen their understanding, and achieve their academic goals.

We focus on creating engaging, structured lessons tailored to each student's needs, whether they are looking to improve their grades, catch up on difficult concepts, or challenge themselves further. Our tutors are carefully selected for both their subject knowledge and their ability to explain complex ideas in a clear, approachable way.

With experience supporting students across a range of year levels and subjects, we emphasize genuine understanding over memorization, helping students develop the skills and confidence needed for long-term success both inside and outside the classroom. Our goal is not only to improve academic results, but also to foster independent learners who feel capable and motivated to tackle new challenges.

About the lesson

Our VCE English lessons are structured around the latest VCAA Study Design and are designed to help students steadily improve their SAC and exam results throughout the year.

At New Moon Education, our tutors are friendly, approachable, and well-versed in the current VCE English curriculum. We understand the challenges students face with the new study design and provide clear, practical guidance to help them navigate each area with confidence.

Lessons are tailored to the individual student and focus on developing the key skills needed for success, including:

• Text Response
• Creating Texts
• Argument & Language Analysis
• Essay Structure & Development
• Analytical Writing Skills
• SAC & Exam Preparation
• Detailed Feedback on Practice Responses

Rather than simply teaching students what to write, we focus on helping them understand how to think critically, construct strong arguments, and write with clarity and sophistication. Our goal is to build both confidence and capability, equipping students with the skills needed to excel in VCE English.

Mahad is one of the most trusted people I know. Everything he said he will do, he did. I have seen him transform from a shy kid with a speech impediment to an outgoing well spoken man. He is a beacon of hope to all who know him, and I know that he will not hesitate to help those around him.
