About Shahira
I graduated in dance technician at age 27, ministered at 29 years old, started studying Middle Eastern Dances at 17 years old, specialized in Turkish Dances. I have a DRT and a Certificate from the MEC. I have already graduated countless students, including those who took DRT, too, I own a DANCE CIA in which the students were awarded an International Festival. They have already participated in several Festivals with my CIA OF DANCE. I have already taken students to national and international workshops with me to get ready and today some have followed the career of a dancer or teacher.

Classes will be made in 1 hour duration, and is intended for anyone who is interested in learning this modality. No prior knowledge of dance is required. At the BASIC level: we will work on initial position, weight transfer, base steps, familiarization with Turkish music, which is different from Arabic. At the INTERMEDIATE level: we will work more elaborate steps, combining them with each other, rhythms used in Turkish music, and initiation to ragats (snujs), Turkish spin drills and dance balance of the tray. At the ADVANCED level: we will know more steps, master the spin and balance, and learn about the Turkish Belly Dance Divas and their styles, to have fun and create your personal style in Turkish Belly Dance. I graduated in dance technician at 27 years old, I started my studies in Dances from the Middle East to 17 years, where I learned everything about the Culture of the Arab World and ended up specializing in Turkish Dances. I spent a season of 8 months in Turkey, to understand Culture and thus better the Dances, I am always in contact with groups of Traditional Turkish Dances in Turkey and Germany, and always learning, always changing. I am a pioneer of the DANCE OF TURKISH VENTURE in Brazil. I was in Germany in 2011 to teach Turkish and Lebanese Belly Lessons and I participated in 2 International Belly Dance Festivals, as well as workshops with renowned masters of the area. In 2012, I was the first time to Turkey, having returned in 2016 and staying until 2017. I have 6 awards in International Festivals. I always recycle myself to bring the best to my students.
