About Luca
Hi, I am Luca and I am studying physics with a minor in chemistry at RWTH Aachen and I offer tutoring in the subjects of mathematics, physics and chemistry. I graduated secondary school 3 years ago with the advanced courses in physics and mathematics and am very enthusiastic myself when it comes to mathematics or science and would like to share this enthusiasm with you!

Pupils often have difficulties (including me at the time) with the material (from secondary schools) when questions such as "What do I need this for?" or "Where does this formula come from?" are answered insufficiently or not at all by the teacher. Often (especially in mathematics) there is no visual background for the respective concepts. However, such visualizations help immensely in understanding, especially when it comes to more complex topics such as analysis, vector calculation or matrices. It is therefore always my goal to provide the students with a basic picture on which the understanding of the topic is based. I usually take the student's previous knowledge as well as a generally understandable and tangible question from everyday life as a starting point. From there, we jointly derive the basics of the respective topic and initially solve simple tasks that emphasize the specific properties of the respective topic. Here I always make sure that the solutions can be represented graphically, so that the pupils get a clear picture of what the respective topic is about. From there, we solve exercises with increasing difficulty, in which I point out special features, special cases and - if available - special calculation methods step by step, so that in the end the students have a broad understanding of the topic and feel safe with various tasks from the topic and are also prepared for (in some cases difficult) special cases.
