My name is Christina, I am an online tutor with a genuine passion for helping young learners build confidence, clarity, and a love for learning that lasts beyond the classroom.
I have personally taught over 52 students across Primary School Mathematics and Tamil language, earning five-star reviews from every family I have worked with. That track record was not built on a certificate it was built session by session, child by child, through patience, preparation, and a deep commitment to actually getting results.
Every lesson I deliver is planned in advance. I do not show up and improvise. Every child I teach is different, and that is exactly where I start. Before diving into any topic, I take time to understand how your child thinks, where their confidence sits, and what has confused them before because fixing the root of the problem is always more effective than just drilling exercises repeatedly.
My lessons are structured but never rigid. A typical session begins with a short warm-up to activate prior knowledge, followed by a focused teaching segment where I introduce or revisit the core concept using visual aids, real-life examples, and step-by-step breakdowns that make abstract ideas feel concrete and manageable.
We then move into guided practice together, where I watch how your child solves problems and gently correct misconceptions in real time before they become habits. Every session closes with a quick confidence check I want your child leaving the lesson feeling capable, not overwhelmed.
What genuinely sets me apart is this: I have worked with over 52 students, and I have learned that children do not struggle because they are not smart they struggle because nobody has explained it in the way that clicks for them yet. Finding that explanation is what I do. I am patient, I am encouraging, and I never move forward until the child is truly ready.
For Tamil language, my approach connects grammar and vocabulary to real conversation and cultural identity especially for diaspora children who hear Tamil at home but cannot yet read or write it confidently.
These lessons are designed for children aged 5 to 11 following the UK National Curriculum or Sri Lankan syllabus, and for Tamil learners of any age who want to speak, read, and write with real confidence.
