About Zuhayer

Hi, I’m Zuhayer. I’m currently studying at La Trobe University and have C1-level English proficiency. I’ve always enjoyed activities that involve communication and speaking, and over the years I’ve taken part in debates, Model United Nations, Olympiads and other academic competitions, where I’ve also won a few awards.

I’ve previously tutored students and volunteered with schools, which helped me learn how to explain things in a simple and patient way. I understand that everyone learns differently, so I try to make my lessons comfortable, practical and easy to follow.

I especially enjoy helping students become more confident when speaking English, improve their vocabulary and express their ideas more clearly. I’m friendly and easy to talk to, and I want my students to feel comfortable making mistakes and asking questions while they learn.

About the lesson

Hi, I’m Zuhayer. I provide personalized online English and IELTS lessons designed around each student’s current level, goals, and areas for improvement.

My teaching approach is practical and interactive. Rather than focusing only on theory, I use conversations, real-life examples, guided exercises, vocabulary practice, grammar correction, reading, writing, listening, and speaking activities to help students use English confidently.

For IELTS students, I can also help with speaking practice, writing structure, vocabulary development, reading strategies, listening techniques, and overall exam preparation. I have C1-level English proficiency and previous experience tutoring students and working with volunteer schools.

A typical lesson is around 60 minutes, although this can be adjusted depending on the student’s needs. My lessons are suitable for beginners through to advanced learners, including school and university students, adults, international students, and anyone wanting to improve their everyday or academic English.

My goal is to create a comfortable learning environment where students can ask questions freely, practice without pressure, and improve steadily at their own pace.
