About Keira
I’m a patient and approachable tutor who loves helping students gain confidence in their learning. Growing up trilingual in Barcelona gives me a strong understanding of languages and how to teach them effectively. I’m also currently studying International Relations with Japanese, so I know firsthand how challenging (and exciting!) it can be to learn a new language. I create lessons that are organised, engaging, and tailored to each student’s goals. You can expect a positive, supportive environment where mistakes are part of learning and progress is celebrated. My aim is to help you feel confident using Spanish, Catalan, or English in real-life situations.

Born and raised in Barcelona, I teach Spanish, Catalan, and English with a personalised approach designed to meet your individual needs and help you learn with confidence. My classes are dynamic and conversation-based — I believe the best way to learn a language is through real communication, not memorising rules. I focus on creating a relaxed, positive atmosphere where students feel comfortable making mistakes and improving step by step. Each lesson is carefully planned around your goals, whether you want to practise speaking, master grammar, or prepare for travel or exams. A typical session lasts about an hour, and I adapt the pace and activities depending on your level and learning style. As a trilingual tutor and university student, I understand the challenges of language learning and use creative techniques — like role plays, games, and cultural insights — to make every lesson engaging and practical. My lessons are perfect for beginners, intermediate learners, or anyone who wants to gain confidence using a new language in everyday life.
