About Connie
I’m a History undergraduate at UCL with a real passion for helping others reach their potential through education. Coming from a socio-economic mobility background, I’ve seen first-hand how powerful education can be. I want to make learning accessible, enjoyable and confidence-boosting for everyone. I’ve always loved English Language and Literature, especially exploring stories, ideas, and how to express them clearly. Having achieved nine Grade 8–9s at GCSE, I’m confident in my understanding of the curriculum and know what it takes to succeed. I love creating a friendly, supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and proud of their progress.

I specialise in 11+ and GCSE English, helping students build confidence, boost their grades and actually enjoy the subject! My lessons usually last 1–2 hours and are tailored to each student’s goals. I like to keep sessions interactive by using presentations, discussions, essay planning, and real exam paper practice to make learning engaging and practical. As a current UCL student with plenty of experience tutoring different ages, I understand how to make lessons both supportive and challenging. My students range from primary learners preparing for the 11+ to GCSE students aiming for top grades in English Language and Literature.
