Hi, I'm Ganiu,
A Microsoft Certified Data Analyst Associate (PL-300) with a genuine passion for turning messy data into clear, useful insights. My journey into data started with the same frustration most of my students feel: spending hours on repetitive Excel tasks that should take minutes. Discovering Power Query changed everything for me, and I want it to do the same for you.
I teach because I remember exactly what it felt like to be stuck staring at a tutorial that assumes you already know what a "merge query" is, or watching someone fly through steps without explaining the logic behind them. My goal is to be the patient, clear teacher I wish I'd had when I started: someone who breaks things down, answers the "why" behind every click, and meets you exactly where you are.
Beyond the certification, I've worked hands-on with real business data across reporting, automation, and analytics projects. I genuinely enjoy seeing the moment a student realises they can replace a 2-hour manual task with a refreshable query that "aha" moment is why I do this.

About the lesson

Tired of spending hours wrestling with messy spreadsheets and repetitive tasks? My lessons focus on real-world data problems, not abstract theory.
Every student starts with a quick diagnostic to pinpoint your current Excel or Power BI skill level and the type of data you work with whether it’s messy sales reports, finance reconciliations, marketing exports, or CSVs from multiple systems. From there, I create a personalized roadmap, so you learn Power Query in the exact context you'll use it.

Each session lasts 60–90 minutes, combining focused walkthroughs of key concepts like merging queries, unpivoting columns, using parameters, or writing custom M code with hands-on practice using your own files. After each lesson, you’ll get a short recap and practice task so the skills stick.

With over 4 years of experience in Power Query, Power BI, and Excel automation, I’ve helped complete beginners and analysts streamline repetitive work, automate reports, and gain confidence in advanced ETL workflows.

My students range from finance and operations professionals to small business owners and data analysts—anyone spending too much time copy-pasting and looking to automate it for good. My approach is patient, practical, and jargon-free: you’ll not only learn what to click, but also why it works, so you can solve new problems on your own.
