About Adam
I am a first-year university student studying a degree in Science with Education at Sheffield Hallam university to become a high school science teacher. I have studied biology, chemistry, and physics as well as how to teach these subjects in the most efficient way to build an understanding of the content and challenge any issues you might have. Throughout my degree, I also study how children and teenagers learn and what the best methods are for revising and forming lasting memories of the content covered. I have experience teaching in classrooms and tutoring other students, so I know how to ensure topics are explained in a clear and understandable way.

As a part of my degree, I have studied the science curriculums, so I know what content that needs covering for exams and what topics require more attention. This doesn't mean, however, that I will have a set plan that is structured like classroom lessons. I will begin by getting an understanding of the topics you feel most and least confident, then create a structure that will prioritise what you need work on while still going over more confident areas to maintain your knowledge and understanding.
The sessions I provide will be engaging and go at a pace that benefits you as an individual. I will work alongside you to ensure you are making good progress you are gaining more of an understanding of the topics.
