About Sarah
I am an experienced, empathic literacy tutor who is qualified to support children and adults with any literacy needs. At present, I work as a study skills tutor at the University of Hertfordshire. I am patient, understanding and very supportive in my approach, and aim that students enjoy our sessions.

Presently, I am employed as a one-to-one tutor and also support students at a local university with study skills. I am very experienced in supporting students with dyslexia. I find out what area the student would like help in, and then teach this in the most engaging way possible. I check for understanding throughout the session to ensure my students are getting the most from our sessions. I adapt sessions to the students' needs. My lessons range from half an hour to an hour.
