About Emily
I have a degree in Drama and Theatre Studies and a Master of Arts Degree in Contemporary Performance Practice. After setting up my own theatre company, I trained as an English and Drama teacher, gaining a QTS. I taught GCSE and A-level Drama, as well as GCSE English Literature and GCSE English Language. I was also the Literacy Coordinator of an Outstanding school in London, enthusing students to love reading and writing. My most recent position was Head of Performing Arts at an international school in Malaysia. I have now returned to the UK to continue my career in education here.

My role is to guide, enlighten and challenge. I want to guide students to find the answers for themselves - this way they will undergo analysing and evaluating and will truly understand and remember their work. Additionally, I hope to teach through a variety of methods to ensure all students stay engaged and enjoy learning!
