About Archie
I am a trained History and Classics teacher, with research experience in Classics pedagogy. My passion is to help enable everyone to learn about the ancient world, and my teaching career has shown me just how impactful this can be for students. I have an MA in Classics and Ancient History and I actively research ancient Roman history and reception, with some published works.

Lessons can be directed by you: whether you want to work on exam practice and preparation or subject content. I use pedagogical methods to enable students to progress in their understanding of key subject content as well as develop and enhance their writing. Using materials such as model answers, essay structure worksheets as well as providing detailed feedback on written work, students can get a tailored learning experience. I can tutor any student at GCSE, A Level or undergraduate level. I am also happy to tutor students who are home educated.
