About Achala
I am a Computer science engineer turned French teacher. I am at the B1 level. I adore the language and I'm looking for students who are really passionate about the language and need help, because languages are beautiful but not as easy to grasp. This is especially true for foreign languages where mother tongue influence is very apparent when we speak. I don't believe in teaching French using other languages for the most part, will use them only when really necessary.

Depending on the purpose of learning the language, I will choose the material for that student accordingly. I will use a variety of techniques used by teachers at AF, like hand gestures, images and synonyms in French that are similar to English words. I focus on pronunciation as well, for students who really want to speak French as it should be spoken.
