Hello! I am a Tourism and Hospitality Management educator with an academic background in Tourism Management and professional experience in travel agency operations. My journey in both the academe and the tourism industry has allowed me to develop a teaching approach that combines academic knowledge with practical, real-world perspectives.
As an educator, I am passionate about making learning meaningful, engaging, and accessible. I believe that education should go beyond memorizing concepts; it should help learners understand how knowledge can be applied in real situations. This is why I enjoy connecting lessons to industry practices, current issues, and everyday experiences.
My areas of interest include Tourism and Hospitality Management, travel and tourism operations, destination and cultural studies, research, academic writing, and presentations. My approach as a tutor is centered on making learning meaningful, practical, engaging, and relevant to real-world situations. With my academic background in Tourism Management, professional experience in travel agency operations, and experience as a Tourism and Hospitality Management educator, I believe that students learn best when theories are connected to actual industry practices and everyday experiences. I aim to create lessons that are not only easy to understand but also useful beyond the classroom, helping students see how what they learn can be applied in real situations.

I use a student-centered and interactive approach to teaching. Rather than simply delivering information, I encourage students to participate in discussions, ask questions, analyze situations, and connect concepts with real-life experiences. I combine theoretical knowledge with practical examples from the tourism and hospitality industry, making complex topics easier to understand through simplified explanations, case studies, guided discussions, reflective questions, and scenario-based activities.
