About Phil

From the age of 12 I taught myself the guitar and it has uplifted me my whole life. I want to transfer that feeling of connection, and make more people inspired with their instruments and dig deeper into the music they love. I get really involved and make up whole lessons around the songs you want to play, and it's tailored to each student, not simply following a basic handbook. I also play bass in the Norwegian metal band SATYRICON.

About the lesson

-Professional touring guitarist with 25 years experience in many different genres rock/metal/blues/pop/alternative/.... -No need for theory: I teach people to teach themselves by training their ear too, as I believe that's the real musician's weapon! -For anyone and any age, online or face-to-face in London -1h lesson -I also sing and write music and will be more than happy to help you there too. -I keep it fun and prioritise connecting with the instrument in an inspiring way.

Vladimir came with his son Lev and he was quite more advanced than I expected. A focused student who picked up things very quickly and will make me up my game as a teacher! Friendly family too and I'm looking forward to witness Lev's progress.
