Hi, my name is Amr and I am an experienced tutor with over 100 hours of tutoring experience. I aim to develop my students to not only get questions right, but to truly ace their subjects and get the most out of their learning. My methodology is simple and effective: understand → condense → memorise → apply.
Beyond academic results, I place strong emphasis on building long-term understanding and exam intelligence. Many students struggle not because they lack ability, but because they have never been taught how to think about a subject. My lessons focus on breaking down complex ideas into clear, logical steps, identifying common examiner traps, and developing the habits consistently used by top-grade students.
I tailor every session to the individual student, whether that involves strengthening weak foundations, pushing high achievers toward grade 9 or A* performance, or rebuilding confidence after setbacks. I regularly use past-paper questions, mark schemes, and examiner reports to ensure revision is efficient and fully aligned with how marks are awarded.
Parents and students value my structured approach, clear explanations, and honest feedback. I set targeted homework, track progress closely, and adapt quickly if something is not working. My goal is not short-term improvement, but sustained academic growth that transfers across topics and exams.
I achieved *A*A*A*A* at A-Levels and(concealed information) at GCSEs, meaning I am well-equipped to teach exam-board-specific techniques, tips, and strategies to help students perform at their best.
