About Wren
I am a passionate piano tutor with over 8 years of experience teaching students of all ages, from school beginners to college learners and working professionals. My teaching philosophy is centred on creating a positive, nurturing, and inspiring environment where students can develop both technical skills and creative expression.
Over the years, I have guided students to perform in recitals, complete graded exams, and participate in competitions, helping them gain recognition for their dedication and talent. My lessons cover technique, sight-reading, music theory, improvisation, and performance skills, all tailored to the student’s level, goals, and personal interests.
I focus on fostering confidence, discipline, and a lifelong love for music, blending structured practice with creative exercises to make learning piano both meaningful and enjoyable.

In piano lessons, I focus on developing technical skills, sight-reading, rhythm, and expressive musicality, blending structured exercises with creative pieces that make lessons enjoyable and meaningful.
I maintain open communication, encouraging students to ask questions, set goals, and reflect on their progress. Supportiveness is central to my approach—I guide students patiently through challenges, celebrate every success, and help them develop confidence and independence in their learning.
I also apply this methodology to other subjects I teach, including music theory, composition, and ear training. My aim is to create a nurturing environment where students grow musically, creatively, and personally while developing a lifelong love for learning.
