About Sarah
Hi! I'm Sarah, and I completely understand how overwhelming A-Level RS can feel when you're first looking at it. But here's a little secret: I actually think RS is one of the easiest A-Levels once you finally crack how it works and everything clicks into place!
When I was in school consistently achieving top grades in my RS exams, I realised that success isn't about memorising endless walls of text. It's about taking those heavy theories, simplifying them into simpler concepts, and knowing how to structure your arguments.
Because I've just walked out of that exact same exam hall, my approach is super fresh and practical. I know life as a student can be pretty hectic, so I'm completely flexible and love tailoring my sessions around your specific needs, pace, and schedule—whether you need a confidence boost or a steady push towards an A*.
My lessons are designed to be a friendly, welcoming space where we tackle the toughest concepts together, build up your quote bank, and practise essay writing step-by-step. You don't have to stress your way through this subject alone; I'm here to help you see just how manageable (and even interesting!) A-Level RS can be!

Here is how I structure my online lessons to help you master Eduqas RS (Islam, Philosophy, and Ethics), simplify heavy theory, and build exam-ready confidence.
My Teaching Techniques
Theory Breakdown: We take complex philosophical and theological concepts and simplify them into clear, digestible categories so your revision notes actually make sense.
Quotes: We hunt down and organise precise, memorable quotes for every single topic on the Eduqas specification.
Essay Plans & Paragraph Practice: Theory is useless if you can't write about it. We systematically build robust essay plans and practise high-scoring paragraphs together so you master the Eduqas AO1 (knowledge) and AO2 (evaluation) balance.
Typical Length of a Lesson
1 Hour: Perfectly paced to practise theory and write. We spend the first half simplifying new concepts and organising quotes/plans, and the second half actively practising exam paragraphs. Or we can adapt to whatever needs you have (e.g if you are stronger in theory but bad at writing, we can spend more time on improving your writing skills)

Recently did my A-Levels: Having just gone through the exact same rigorous Eduqas syllabus myself and earned top grades, I know the mark schemes inside and out.
