About Alysia
I have a BS degree in Psychology as well as I have taken Early Childhood courses in High School and college. I am good at teaching children where they actually learn and have fun as well as I use my imagination and teach children through different creative approaches and make learning fun and more like play than actual learning/work. For example, I'd have a child, let's say he or she is 5 years old, spell words by finding the letters in the sand. Making sensory bins is a good way to teach and help children learn rather than, let's say, using worksheets. Oftentimes children learn better hands-on.

I have 27 yrs childcare experience birth through 16 years of age, which includes working with Special Needs children. I also have a 15 yr old son. I am very passionate about working with kids, lots of TLC, patient, kind, love helping children learn and watching them grow from what they've been taught through me
