About Thomas
I am someone who is hugely passionate about all things Sociology. From taking it at AS level to now studying it as a Masters student, my interest in this subject has only continued to grow. I am very well versed in sociology as highlighted from the grades I have achieved throughout my time investigating and exploring the social world. I achieved an A grade in Sixth Form and graduated from the University of Kent with a first class degree in sociology and criminology. I was also awarded with the Aurelio Manente prize (given to the student with the highest average mark in Sociology)!
I am aware that Sociology is a discipline that lends itself to many other subjects and vice versa. Having also studied Criminology at university means that I can offer breadth and depth into key areas, targeting theories, practices and wider real world issues.
I would like to self-address myself as friendly and encouraging. Despite not having much tutoring experience. I believe my passion and interest in this subject would inspire the best possible engagement from somebody new to Sociology or someone who is muddled up with marxism or frustrated with functionalism.
