About Reagan
For 10 years now, my Bachelor of Arts in French has shaped how I approach teaching French. A college student preparing for study abroad built strong skills through structured weekly lessons. One student struggled with pronunciation until we practiced through songs and recordings each week.
A student preparing for DELF improved steadily through regular timed practice sessions. Each student is different, so I adapt my methods to fit their pace. My goal is always to make French feel approachable rather than intimidating.
I believe learning French should feel practical and connected to real life. My lessons are structured but flexible, adjusting to how each student learns best. Patience and encouragement are central to how I teach every student.
I focus on building strong fundamentals before moving to advanced topics. I use a mix of practice, feedback and real examples in every lesson. I enjoy watching students go from hesitant to confident with steady practice.
I am excited to help you grow, so reach out whenever you are ready.

Lessons often open with light conversation to get students speaking right away. Cultural notes about France and francophone countries are shared throughout lessons. Vocabulary is grouped by themes such as daily routines and travel.
Business French sessions cover emails, phone calls and workplace vocabulary. Pronunciation improves through repetition, recordings and gentle correction. Writing exercises build gradually from short notes to full paragraphs.
Students preparing for study abroad get extra practice with everyday dialogues. Speaking confidence grows through low pressure conversation practice each week. Listening practice includes French songs, interviews and short news clips.
Role play scenarios help students rehearse real situations like shopping or travel. Reading practice uses simple texts that match each student's current level. Grammar points are introduced through examples before any formal explanation.
For DELF and DALF preparation, we practice past exam questions regularly.
