About Howard (Rick)
I have been an educator for 35 years first in Canada and later on 13 international projects sponsored by the World Bank, European Union and Global Affairs Canada. Experience in Bangladesh, Pakistan, Zambia, Ethiopia and Afghanistan as well as several Eastern European countries.
I was Director of Education at a community college in New Brunswick and was on the faculty at St.Francis Xavier University in Nova Scotia for ten years. During my career I developed curriculum, provided classroom instruction and provided individual counselling to students.

Learning is a collaborative process. My approach is to define priority learning needs and objectives and to structure lessons, reinforcement and evaluation on the basis of mutually defined objectives.
I am an effective communicator and provide a motivating learning climate. Emphasis is placed on the individual learner and lessons are structured to progress at the learners speed.
