About Angélique
Hi! My name is Angelique and I am currently an undergraduate student at McGill University!
I have over 10 years of experience playing bass in the genres of Jazz, Contemporary, and Orchestral. I have played bass in professional settings over the past 3 years, and am currently the bassist for an upcoming Montreal artist!
I am looking to provide English bass tutoring lessons to kids and youth in Montreal to earn some extra income throughout my studies, and would ideally host such lessons from my apartment downtown. I would also be happy to tutor at the student's home, as long as it is a reasonable distance from my home.
I am the oldest sister of 3 and have experience working with children ages 3 - 13. I am happy to tutor children of all abilities - neurotypical or divergent. All kids should get to experience the magic of bass!

Music comprehension and reading of sheet music, tab-reading, and letter notation!
Lessons would be focused on a more jazz and contemporary approach rather than classical, following music structures such as found in The Real Book. However, a more traditional approach such as learning according to the Royal Conservatory could also be arranged if desired.
Lessons would be available for kids and youth who are new/intermediate at Bass, and ideally comfortable in English.
