About Shana
My name is Shana, and I am currently studying at the University of Cape Town. I am studying a Bachelor of Arts degree, majoring in Drama, English and Film Studies. I have tutored someone previously in the foundation phase. I am wanting to become a high school teacher once I have completed my degree, and I intend on teaching Dramatic Arts and/or English in high schools. I love watching series and movies, and I LOVE poetry (I write my own poetry actually). My favorite thing in the whole world is sunsets! I hope that I can help you, and improve your understanding through my tutoring.

I am able to teach in English. Before the tutoring begins, I will make sure to identify how each student needs to be taught based on whether they are a visual learner, auditory learner etc. Students can expect lessons where I provide notes pertaining to the subject, test and exam preparation. My lessons are aimed at students struggling with English (whether that be primary or high school), and who need help either with English Language, or English Literature. I will make sure to provide lessons that are helpful and informative, but not in a constricted environment. I want students to have the freedom and to be comfortable enough to ask questions and express what they do not understand.
