About Amy
My teaching philosophy is one which puts the student in the center and my lessons are mounded around developing the student’s weak areas in the subject and building on their strengths. I use active learning techniques and continuously monitor my students’ progress through formative assessments and feedback.

My degree will qualify me to teach PE and Irish at post-primary level. Therefore, I have a high level of fluency in the Irish language and a great understanding of the curricula in both my subjects. My lessons are student-centered with a clear focus on accommodating the student’s needs.
