About Emily
I am a third year Pre-Medicine student at The University of Notre Dame. I have informally tutored classmates, friends, and my siblings since high school. I have vast knowledge in a variety of subjects in the sciences, such as high-level math, biology, chemistry and physics. Biology is my main subject, as I have been taking high-level courses in the subject (including AP Biology) continuously for five years. I have ample experience with children and teens, as I was a Sunday School Teacher's Aide for numerous years. Additionally, I have been a swim coach and private swim instructor for children ranging from ages 6-17 since the summer of 2017.

My teaching abilities are geared towards K-12 students who need assistance in all levels of biology, including AP Biology, as well as math courses of any level up to Calculus. My primary methods of teaching include repetition, tips and tricks to remember, understand, and master difficult concepts, and most importantly, creating a comfortable, enjoyable, and inclusive environment for students to grow and develop as they move through their academic journey.

Details
My rate is $15/hour and I do not require a travel fee for students within 5 miles of me. I am very open and willing to work with parents who are unable to pay the rate listed whether it be through payment plans or reduced pricing. My main concern is helping your child and giving back to my community!
