About Harmehak
Hi! I'm a third-year podiatric medical student who loves science, learning, and helping others succeed! Having spent years studying everything from biology and chemistry to anatomy and physiology, I know firsthand how overwhelming some subjects can feel. Trust me, I've been there!
I've also taken the MCAT and have formal tutoring experience, so I understand the challenges of tackling difficult coursework and preparing for big exams.
One of my favorite things about tutoring is seeing that "aha!" moment when something that once seemed impossible finally clicks. I love making learning less stressful, more enjoyable, and helping students realize they're capable of more than they think.
When I'm not buried in medical school textbooks, I enjoy sharing what I've learned and helping others reach their goals. I believe learning doesn't have to be boring, and sometimes all it takes is someone explaining things a little differently!

My tutoring philosophy is simple: learning should make sense, not feel like memorizing a million things you'll forget after the exam!
I specialize in breaking down complicated concepts into clear, manageable steps. Every student learns differently, so I personalize each lesson based on your learning style, current understanding, and academic goals.
A typical lesson starts with identifying what you're struggling with, followed by easy-to-follow explanations, real-world examples, and guided practice questions. I also incorporate active recall, helpful memory tricks, and exam strategies to make sure the material actually sticks.
I offer online tutoring in biology, chemistry, anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, general science, math, and MCAT preparation for middle school, high school, college, and pre-med students.
Whether you're looking to improve your grades, prepare for a major exam, or finally understand a subject that's been giving you trouble, my goal is to make every session productive, encouraging, and stress-free.
No question is ever a silly question! I want you to feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and learning at your own pace. My goal isn't just to help you get the right answer, but to help you understand why it's the right answer.
