About Stephen
I am a third year Scottish student studying Physics at the University of Edinburgh, having achieved A's recently at National 5, Higher and Advanced Higher level in both Maths and Physics, I am knowledgable in how to succeed in these courses.
I have a profound interest in Physics and recently became a member of the Institute of Physics. I take great pleasure in sharing the fascinating nature of the world around us through the lens of Physics. As a tutor, I strive to inspire students with the same enthusiasm for the subject, helping them understand complex concepts and achieve their academic goals.
Having completed a significant portion of my High School studies online during lockdown, I greatly appreciate the use of online resources and the ability to learn without a teacher present. I was able to teach myself concepts using my own techniques which I will use to help students succeed in Maths and Physics.

Studying Maths and Physics in greater depth at university has given me a deep appreciation for the importance of a solid foundation. In addition to preparing students to answer exam questions effectively, I will ensure you gain a thorough understanding of the subject.
Students can request help with specific topics, and I will start from the basics to ensure thorough understanding. We can then use past papers to reinforce knowledge and build confidence in answering exam questions.
Lessons will usually be one hour but can be longer if preferred.
As a Scottish student, National 5, Higher and Advanced Higher courses are what I am most used to but most of the topics translate to any Maths or Physics course.
