About Bhavna
Hi!! I’m currently in my Third year of studying Pharmacy. Having always had a passion for learning the sciences, while also having the motive of helping people, I feel that this course combines all my interests and values perfectly! In addition, I wish to use my previous experience as a mentor to help students achieve their true potential.

I understand students may not be aware of the learning methods which are most effective for them, and so I always monitor and teach in learning styles which allow them to learn concepts easily. Initially, I help students set short and long-term goals regarding the subject, which helps them to stay organised and motivated, while allowing me to pre-plan all future lessons accordingly. For the structure of lessons, I use the first few minutes to recap the previous lesson’s contents, then go through the student’s pre-knowledge on the new topic before going through it in a personalised learning style that the tutee finds is the most effective for them; I always engage in lessons by e.g., asking questions to ensure they are focused, and are understanding the contents of the lesson. To conclude, I go through many exam questions, key words on the mark scheme, and exam techniques with them, to ensure that students feel confident about answering questions on the topic. This ensures that the students have been through the topics at least 2-3 times, which aids in solidifying their memory and understanding of the contents for a long period of time, making their revision much easier (and their exams less daunting!)
