About Carolyn
I am a third-year medical student who has over the past few years, discovered a newfound love and propensity for teaching others. Biology and its many components are something I have dedicated most of my academic career to studying. It is my joy and privilege to help others navigate what can undoubtedly be an overwhelming field of science. I have tutored for a few years and recieved great feedback on my degree of professionalism, course content and ability to adapt to the needs of each student. Lessons can range from 30mins - 1hr. My teaching style centres on genuine appreciation and learning of concepts as opposed to route learning. I begin with understanding the learning style of my students and work with them to create study schedules/methods that maximise productivity.
I have tutored many students ranging from international students trying to learn conversational English to high school students beginning preparation for entrance into medical school. I can easily tailor lessons to meet each students needs, and my lessons would benefit both struggling high school students and high achieving students looking for an edge in University
