About Lucy
I am a third year law student at Durham University and have a love for reading and writing. I want to teach because I miss studying English Literature as I am very enthusiastic about the analysis and evaluation of different texts. I would love to be able to help other students succeed in this subject as I did.

Teaching with a focus on practice paragraphs to develop writing style - practising writing is what improves grades! Teaching methodology includes reviewing these practice paragraphs and providing detailed feedback to enhance students' writing skills.
Additional focus on quote memorisation for closed book exams, alongside detailed quotation analysis to allow better understanding of literary devices and their impacts.
My qualifications include a grade 9 at GCSE and an A* at A level in English Literature.
Lessons are for students working towards these exams.
