About Veda

Hello Students,
I am Veda Kansar, living in Goa. Currently, I am a student persuing BA History Honours in Dhempe College, Goa. I have interest in History from 6th STD and studying it till now. I want to be an Archaeologist and a History professor to impart knowledge. If I talk about my hobbies, there are lot of them but prime ones are Singing and Painting.
Normally, students find History as a boring subject, it's because there teacher is not really interested to teach the subject and uses the same old method 'Popat Panchi' (Rata Mar) to teach. But I am really interested in History and want to pursue my career in it. Teaching/Tutoring gives a way for me to make people realise about themselves. History stops them to make the same mistake again. Past teaches us what to do and what not to do.
I can teach all the four eras' (Prehistory, Ancient, Medival, Modern) but my personal interest is in Ancient times.

History is experience that always teachesus to move forward.

About the lesson

History is the foundation of present times. Without the knowledge of past one cannot know the existence of today's world. It's one of the important factor which shapes our personality.

My classes will be very simple to understand. I will use many pictorial depictions and give you interesting assignments. Students finds that dates are very difficult to remember but with my tricks you will easily remember it. Discussion and debates will also be part of the class. The medium of the language will be mostly English, Hindi and I also know to speak Marathi and Konkani. If student is facing language barrier, I will be Bilingual for them.
One more thing the topics or syllabus of the students can differ from regions so students must tell me their syllabus beforehand and interesting knowledge will be added up.

I am also a learner and knowledge is endless. If I am also able to learn new facts from the student, it will be my pleasure. The most important thing is the views, questions and criticism of the students are always welcome. I will try my best to answer all the questions and doubts of the students regarding History and Geography (Both are related subjects).
