I am a third year English student, studying at the University of Derby, aspiring towards become an English teacher post-university. I have gained experience throughout the past 5 years teaching in a range of different schools, both primary and secondary.

My teaching method is based upon being practical and verbal, whilst also incorporating individual working time to build upon personal development. I have always found through school and university, that students enjoy change, new ideas and practices; rather than a traditional and repetitive classroom nature. Whilst it is healthy to keep a structure to classes, ensuring that students are being encouraged to strive towards fresh and new ideas will encourage open mindedness.a
