About Hannah
I have tutored my younger sisters for years, since they started school and required basic assistance and lesson prompts in a home with working parents. I have also worked with children in a primary school from ages 4-7 with basic Maths and English, including one-on-one sessions, group learning and lesson planning. I have been a research assistant, library and government volunteer also, so I am succinct and eloquent in my teaching and a very assured tutor. I am DBS checked!

I find the most important part of a lesson is having a structure or plan initially. This includes a variety of different activities to facilitate one topic to see which level of learning engages with a particular individual, e.g. independent work, assistance, prompts, games, visual stimuli. I am able to work with more able and talented children or second-language / behaviourally impaired kids who struggle. I have seen progress in my primary school class advancing to reading levels further than before once they are able to identify patterns or rely on certain known sounds.
