About Kira
I am a third year English student at the University of Cambridge with an undeniable passion for the subject! I achieved grade 9's in all my GCSEs, including both English Language and English Literature. I then received A*'s in all my A Levels, including English Literature, as well as an A* in my Literature-focused EPQ. I'm currently studying at Cambridge, receiving a first in my second-year dissertation.
My goal is to make learning English at GCSE and A Level engaging and practical! I understand that each student has unique needs, so lessons are tailored to match your individual learning style, pace and aims!

I provide personalised help for GCSE and A Level English literature and GCSE English language across all exam boards.
The lesson content depends entirely on the student! Whether essay structure, exam technique, literary analysis, close reading, or writing with clarity, I'm encouraging, understanding and compassionate, while giving specific feedback. As a successful Cambridge applicant, I'm also able to offer advice on the Oxbridge application process. I'm happy to read personal statements, answer any pre-interview test questions, provide help on the entrance exams, as well as offer interview practice.
The structure of my lessons also depends on the individual student's needs, learning style, and personal goals, with a focus on their weaker areas. In the first session, we'll discover the areas you wish to improve and come up with a plan on how we will achieve your aims!
