About Daphne
I am Daphne and I am 28 years old. I have experience teaching since I was 18 when I studied to be a primary school teacher. Even before that, I helped my friends in secondary school with all kinds of subjects.
English subjects I am most comfortable teaching are syntax, tenses, adjectives, adverbs, and basic grammar. I can tutor in more subjects, but these are the ones I excel in.
Besides that, I specialise in teaching English as a second language.

I would like the pupils to formulate their own learning questions to have them think about what they need and want to learn. This way I can also prepare the lessons in advance.
I will start the lessons with repetition which the pupil will know and when the groundwork is there, we will start building on that.
After two lessons I hope to know how a pupil learns, so I will adapt my teaching method to their style of learning.
My lessons can be as long as is required, but it would be around 45 minutes.
I have experience tutoring pupils in all my internships.
The age group I teach is 12 to 16-year-old pupils.
