About Roxanne
As a student of Architecture Design in China, I also began teaching English to students of all ages and levels. Eventually, I moved into online teaching and specialized in essay writing in preparation for IELTS and TOEFL, as well as Business English, for teens and adults.
I'm interested in a variety of philosophical topics for discussion, love gardening and experimenting with culinary arts, and continue working on my architecture portfolio.

Hi there! I have 16 years of experience teaching English and specialize in helping students write essays for IELTS and TOEFL, with a strategy focused on using time and vocabulary effectively for the best results.
My method breaks essay writing into four phases: mastering structure using easier topics, building writing speed, expanding vocabulary and topic range through less familiar subjects, and finally simulating real exam conditions with a randomly assigned topic. This progression builds both consistency and confidence under timed pressure — exactly what the exam demands.
I also teach Business English for working professionals. I lived in China for 9 years, where I studied Architecture at Southeast University in Nanjing and taught ESL both in classrooms and as a private tutor. Since 2018, I've taught online full-time, with over 20,000 hours of teaching experience
