About Cheryl Marie
With over 26 years of professional graphic design experience, I am dedicated to promoting the positive health benefits of therapeutic art making through meditative dotting techniques. This inexpensive art form can be learned by anyone wishing to embark on a new hobby. The repetitive notion of dotting can help improve our motor skills and regulate breathing while relaxing into a peaceful artform with beautiful results.
I have provided my artistic services in local primary and secondary schools, specialist workshops and private 1:1 sessions for people of all ages, including adults and children with special needs.

Therapeutic art making using repetitive dotting techniques is a refreshing way to relax and re-energize our creative well-being. Dotting, otherwise known as Pointillism is often used to create beautiful Mandala's on a range of surfaces using premium acrylic paints and dotting tools to lovingly and patiently craft a piece of art or keepsake you can be truly proud of.
Through guided instruction you will learn the current tips and techniques of dotting to help explore your artistic side in a safe, fun and inspiring way.
Dotting is an old Aboriginal craft known for its positive health benefits. The repetitive notion of applying vibrant dots of paint on stones, wood or ceramics for examples, can help people with feelings of anxiety, stress and depression through creative expression and mindfulness.
Cheryl will introduce you to the best materials, tools and techniques to help create a piece of art you can be truly proud of.
