About Aleasha
I’ve learned that mathematics is a part of everyday life. I used to think math was hard when I was in middle school, but I worked even harder and had some sincere teachers that would help me till it started to make sense. Now, I’m in my senior year of college and love being able to help students as my teachers did for me.

My lessons are typically for elementary and middle school students. By using the student’s class materials (textbooks, past assignments, etc.), we can focus on specific issues they may be having. I like to start by getting the student to explain their understanding of the classwork then allow their thought process to guide their learning throughout the lesson. At the end of each session, we would revisit the child’s understanding of the overall concept reviewed, as well as, identify progress and needs of improvement.
