About Ashoka
I am a Photo Journalist. I began my career in Sri Lanka working as an Editor and Editorial Photographer. I am passionate about photography and have loved teaching students in Sri Lanka and Australia. Photography has many theories and rules, but stepping outside of these and using imagination and daring can result in amazing experiences and results.

Beginners always want to play with the camera. When we try to teach them all the parts of the camera and what each part does, this can be boring for many of them. So I always try to give them practical experience, actually taking photographs, while teaching them at the same time. I especially like to teach students triangle exposure.

Details
The above charges are for Beginners. I would like to teach Intermediate and Advanced Level Students in outdoor as well as studio environments. I would be interested in the possibility of Group classes. If used, students would need to pay for models, make-up, attire, food to be photographed, studio and lighting hire. (All students would need to have a Model Release Form filled in.)
